They jointly petitioned the Divisional Office and protested against the District Administration for alloting land for burial purpose to people of Muslim community nearby three Hindu temples.
The petitioners pointed that the alloted burial land is close to three temples - Muthumariaam temple, Hethai Amman and Muniswaran Temple. "Having a burial ground close to our temples, hurts our religious sentiments and rituals. Hence, the allotment order should be revoked", they urged.
"If the district administration does not take immediate action, we will return our Aadhar and Patta to the Collector", the noted.
